A deeper dive into Horizon Europe: proposal design and impact pathways

June 18 @ 09:00 - June 19 @ 12:30
Free

DESCRIPTION:

This workshop is designed to support researchers in developing competitive Horizon Europe proposals and transform ideas into well-structured proposals with strong impact. The workshop will address two key components of proposal development.

The first session (18 June, 09:00-12:30) will focus on “Design. Recruit. Build”. In this session, participants will learn how to respond fully to the call topic using a detailed call topic analysis methodology, select and recruit the right partners for their consortium and design a comprehensive and coherent project proposal.

The second session (19 June, 09:00-12:30) will focus on “Impact Pathways” and participants will learn how to maximize the potential impact of their proposal by developing credible, actionable Impact Pathways, incorporating the language of impact in their proposal to enhance clarity and relevance and by identifying appropriate target users and dissemination mechanisms for the project’s results.

This workshop is particularly relevant for researchers who are planning to submit a proposal in the 2026/2027 Pillar II calls.

  • Target audience: Postdocs to established researchers
  • Maximum number of participants: 15
  • Location: IPMA, Matosinhos
  • Language: English
  • Registration is free for all participants

Registrations are open until 10 June 2026. If you don’t receive a confirmation e-mail upon your registration, please contact twindeeps@ciimar.up.pt.

NOTE:

Due to limited capacity, participants will be selected based on motivation, strategic relevance, maturity of proposal ideas, and potential to apply the acquired knowledge in upcoming Horizon Europe applications.
