Social Media Toolbox for Researchers

April 15 @ 14:00 - 16:00
Free

Social media is now a strategic space for science communication, that allow to increase the visibility of projects, publications and the societal impact of research.

However, many researchers find it challenging to translate technical content into digital formats that are both appealing and appropriate for different platforms.

This workshop aims to present a practical toolbox to support researchers in communicating their work on social media, focusing on language adaptation, format selection, copywriting, visual aesthetics, and the use of digital tools. The workshop will also cover the CIIMAR institutional social media case and will conclude with a practical exercise.

It will be held at CIIMAR on April 15th, from 2pm to 4pm.

The session will be delivered in english, unless all participants are Portuguese speakers.

It is a free workshop for CIIMAR researchers (PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and principal investigators) who are interested in communicating their research through social media.

Registration closes on April 8th.
