DESCRIPTION:It will be a two-day event taking place on April 13th and 17th\, from 10am to 1pm. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDesigned for doctoral students at any stage of their journey\, with the aim of supporting the transition to the labour market\, particularly the business sector. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTarget audience: PhD Students\nLocation: Hybrid (1st session at IPMA and 2nd session online)\n\n  \nRegistrations are open until April 9. \n\nCIIMAR & IPMA members (priority for PhD students): free\nStandard: 100€ (CCMAR members have a 50% discount)\n\n  \nNOTE: The attendance certificate will be issued if the trainee attends at least 80% of the total course time. \nIf tickets are sold out\, you can sign up for the waiting list through this link (you will be notified in order of registration). \n  \n\nDESCRIPTION:\nWorkshop plan: \n1st day (April 13th) > CVs for jobs in academia and CVs for jobs in business/industry \n\nDifferent types of CV and when use each one\nExamples\nElements that compose each type of CV\n\n2nd day (April 17th) > Interviews for research jobs in companies/industries \n\nPreparation phases\nChecklist for preparation the week before\nPreparing answers to common questions\nPreparing for tricky questions\nSalary negotiation\nChecklist for preparation the day before\nBehaviors to avoid/promote on the day of the interview\n\n  \nTrainer: Ana Freitas \nBachelor’s degree in Education (IE–University of Minho); Master’s degree in Educational Sciences (IE–University of Minho); PhD candidate in Educational Sciences with a research focus on Doctoral Education (FPCEUP). Certified as a teacher trainer (CCPFC/RFO-16273/03) and as a trainer of trainers (EDF-42336-2003). She is currently a Visiting Assistant Lecturer at the University of Porto (Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Sciences) and a doctoral research fellow at CIIE – Centre for Research and Intervention in Education\, FPCEUP.
