DESCRIPTION:Público-alvo: empresas e investigadores do CIIMAR \nPretendemos aproximar o CIIMAR das empresas dando a conhecer as tecnologias e serviços inovadores aqui desenvolvidos\, criando oportunidades concretas de transferência de conhecimento e inovação. Paralelamente\, queremos promover junto dos nossos investigadores o contacto direto com o tecido empresarial e a possibilidade de explorarem oportunidades de carreira fora do meio académico ou de desenvolverem doutoramentos em contexto empresarial. \n  \nAgenda preliminar: \n9h00 – Receção \n9h45 – Abertura \n10h00 – Apresentação das plataformas tecnológicas do CIIMAR \n11h:00 – Coffee-break e networking \n11h30 –  Apresentação dos investigadores / linhas de investigação \n13h:00 – Almoço e networking \n14h30 – Encerramento \n  \nEm breve divulgaremos as empresas convidadas. \n  \nNota: A participação no evento é gratuita mediante inscrição. SUMMARY:Research Ethics & Integrity: Walking the Talk for Better Science
DESCRIPTION:The Research Ethics & Integrity workshop will be a hands-on session on ethics & integrity issues concerning Authorship/Publication; Data Management; Supervision; and Conflicts of Interest. \nIt will be based on material of the European projects Integrity and Virt2UE\, as well as on some interesting insights from research on misconduct and questionable research practices. \n  \nThis workshop is designed for the CIIMAR Researchers (PhD students\, postdoctoral researchers and principal investigators) and is part 2 of the Research Integrity workshop that was held on January 20th. \n  \n\nGENERAL INFORMATION:\nThe Research Ethics & Integrity will be held online on April 22th\, from 10am to 12pm. \nIt is a free workshop for CIIMAR researchers\, but prior registration is required in the tickets below. \n  \nNOTE: The attendance certificate will be issued if the trainee attends at least 80% of the total course time. \nIf tickets are sold out\, you can sign up for the waiting list (you will be notified in order of registration). \n  \n\nInstructor: Susana Magalhães (i3s)  \nSusana Magalhães is the Head of the Unit for Responsible Conduct in Research at the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health of the University of Porto (i3S)\, PhD in Bioethics by Portuguese Catholic University and a researcher in the areas of Narrative Medicine and Research Ethics & Integrity.
