Beyond Academia
It will be a two-day event taking place on April 13th and 17th, from 10am to 1pm.
Designed for doctoral students at any stage of their journey, with the aim of supporting the transition to the labour market, particularly the business sector.
- Target audience: PhD Students
- Location: Hybrid (1st session at IPMA and 2nd session online)
Registrations are open until April 9.
- CIIMAR & IPMA members (priority for PhD students): free
- Standard: 100€ (CCMAR members have a 50% discount)
NOTE: The attendance certificate will be issued if the trainee attends at least 80% of the total course time.

Trainer: Ana Freitas
Bachelor’s degree in Education (IE–University of Minho); Master’s degree in Educational Sciences (IE–University of Minho); PhD candidate in Educational Sciences with a research focus on Doctoral Education (FPCEUP). Certified as a teacher trainer (CCPFC/RFO-16273/03) and as a trainer of trainers (EDF-42336-2003). She is currently a Visiting Assistant Lecturer at the University of Porto (Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Sciences) and a doctoral research fellow at CIIE – Centre for Research and Intervention in Education, FPCEUP.
